Cautious markets inch up, but still green for the 6th straight week
💼 Mixed jobs data. Mixed jobs data with October JOLTS and ADP private sector jobs declining M/M below expectations while US nonfarm payrolls grew M/M above expectations. #LaborMarkets continue to show signs of slowly moderating while still threading a delicate balance.
️😅 Tentative markets. Markets continue to tentatively trade following November’s surge and ahead of major macro events upcoming next week. The S&P 500 oscillated up and down all week, but ends up +0.2% locking in a 6th straight green week.
🔥 AI, (still) so hot right now. Multiple #AI announcements rekindling the hype train. AMD unveiled its new AI processor and boosted outlook expectations. Meanwhile, Google unveiled Gemini, its large language model powering Bard to compete with ChatGPT.
