Markets rebound as new jobless claims not as bad as feared
💀 Hard landing? Markets opened the week lower as investors continue to fear a #Recession hard landing may be coming. Last week’s poor job report has drastically dampened the former #Goldilocks soft landing optimism.
💼 Lower jobless claims. Markets got some relief after the new weekly jobless claims came-in lower-than-expected. Investors hopeful the July jobs data was an outlier and the Fed can still achieve a smooth landing.
😅 Relief rally. After Monday’s red spillover, markets eased off the #Recession hard landing doom and gloom and rallied thru the end of the week. The S&P 500 ended a very volatile week essentially flat.
