August jobs report miss sparks #Recession fears…


💼 Weak Jobs. Weak #LaborMarkets data across new openings, private employment, nonfarm payrolls and unemployment. Investors were hoping for weakening data for #RateCuts, but this just felt a little too weak sparking #Recession fears.

👨‍⚖️ Google keeps Chrome. Google will not be required to divest its Chrome web browser. However, Google will be required to share more data with competitors and not enter exclusive search contracts. #BigTech breakup concerns alleviated for now.

😬 Recession fears. The S&P 500 touched a new high midweek and ends slightly up +0.3% for the week, but ended on sour note. #Recession fears are remerging with the steeper #LaborMarkets losses in August.
