Investors turning focus toward big tech earnings next week.
🌊 Choppy earnings. Earnings are off to a bumpy start with some winners and losers so far. Overall, markets trading tentatively from the prior week’s highs. A lot is likely already priced at this point with investors looking for the catalyst for the next rally.
️😌 Macro still in-line. A relatively quiet week on the macro side. Weekly jobless claims fell below expectations while the consumer sentiment index rose. Again, nothing game changing, but still tracking towards a #Goldilocks soft landing.
📉 Market pullback. The S&P 500 finished the week down -1% breaking six straight green weeks. For the most part, mixed earnings kept markets trading tentatively with only Thursday up.
